In partnership with Cervantes-Delgado, Inc. (CDI), GAC Chemical is pleased to announce the completion of its full-service solutionizing system and liquid storage terminal at the GAC Chemical facility in Searsport, Maine. With the completed additions to their physical plant GAC can receive dry or liquid feedstock urea by rail and truck for conversion to urea solutions of various concentrations for wastewater treatment and specialty applications.
CDI is the largest privately held U.S. manufacturer and distributor of high purity Urea Solutions for mobile and stationary NOx control systems as well as wastewater treatment and specialty applications. The new additions to the GAC Chemical physical plant were designed by CDI’s Alberto Delgado and Donald Moerdyke.
At the commencement of operations, Luis Cervantes, CDI President and CEO, stated, “The Maine terminal is strategically located to supply all of the New England states and eastern Canada as well as augment our full service terminals in New Jersey and New York. We now have a tight and efficient supply chain from upstate New York to the New England region which provides multiple shipping points for supply redundancy to ensure that our customers will never run out of product.”
GAC Chemical President and CEO, David Colter, agrees stating, “We are excited about this partnership with CDI that capitalizes on the GAC core competencies of our chemical manufacturing experience, superior supply chain logistics, and sales & marketing distribution capabilities. Partnering with CDI will lead to growth for both companies, as well as for our employees and our customers.”
